About Us


Ace Recruitment was founded in March 2004 by Michelle Lorschy. She has over 20 year’s recruitment experience, having commenced her own career as a chartered accountant with one of the Big 4.

Having completed the CA Program, Michelle chose to travel extensively overseas before returning to Australia and joining the buying office of one of Australia’s leading retail chains.

Her next move would lead her to a career in recruitment, where she joined a boutique consultancy and established the chartered recruitment practice from scratch. Subsequently, she was approached to establish a professional recruitment division in Sydney, for a Melbourne based agency. Over the next 4 years, she successfully built the business before deciding to establish Ace Recruitment.

Michelle has twin boys now both at university and in her spare time loves enjoying the beach, being outdoors, studying French, travelling, volunteering with Raise as a Mentor for teens at local high schools and spending quality time with friends and family. She is also a strong supporter of Room to Read and The School of St Jude, Tanzania – both organisations are driven to educate children in developing countries, as well as focusing on gender equality.
